Needed help from a Foundation, non-profit foundation, grants, investor.

I would like the opportunity to meet and discuss a project that would not only help myself but the agricultual businesses in the area. It would benefit the FFA and 4-H students to be more efficient & profitable. If there is a Foundation related to the agriculture and sciences interested in utilizing by-products local to the area and from other states as available. I have found a 10 acre piece of land which is level, has water availabilty, can have buildings and a home build on it. It is offered at $139K or BO which is not that bad considering the area and growth. I have over 30 years in the agricultural field, I have always helped others until the time that it was to late for me, eventhough all others have been successful. Yes I may be disabled but not a cripple, I have the ability, brains and desire. I just need a hand up not a hand out. Would be happy to pay back everything with the right terms.

Getting Grant to Fund StartUp

I want information on how to find a grant for startup money to purchase a Liberty Tax franchise. The outlook for this is fantastic. Everything is in place to go except the MONEY!!! As always this is an issue. Current finances are tied up in support for son's business that is just beginning to get off the ground after 2 years.

Please do not write to this unless you have solid information on getting a GRANT.
If you have gotten a Grant or have a copy of one that was funded, please reply.

I tried to get a loan but need more credit or personal money to invest before I can get a loan. Now if I want to do this, I need the money ASAP so I can open my door on January 2, 2010.

About yum

My name is Miriam and I was rear ended three years ago. While I am receiving help from the state it just doesn't make ends meet. I love to airbrush, but can no longer stand for to long of a time to work. Years ago I imagined myself painting murals for the houses on the Extreme Makeover; Home Edition show, but now I can't even paint for myself, volunteering for my church... I was looking for a mobile lift to work in as I can't put to much weight on my left foot, independentforlife.com manufactures such a thing but insurance will only pay a 5th of it. How can disabled people like me find help with aides to give some of the quality of life back? I saw the amazing Aluminum Extrusion ceiling track system you put in for the paralyzed man on that show and wow! I don’t need that much help, just a little. My accident left me disabled and penniless as she was under insured. I am 44 and have to live with my wonderful parents. What do you think? I have a spinal cord implant that helps with the pain but just not quite enough to make me “walk” the way I used to.

If nothing else could you point me in a direction of someone that could help finance the equipment I need to work a little? My dad can build the unit; we just need the vest and hoist. Thanks for your consideration

Miriam

About Teena40

Hi, this is th first time that I am writing anything like this.  A church member told me about this site. I would like to tell you my story. In May 2008, I had a operation which the doctor's thought it may be cancer. Thank god it was not. When I returned to work after the doctor release me, I found out that my hours got cut. I have alwayd had a job, with a wonderful work history also. I'm a single parent with 2 boys. One son is in college, and the other is in middle school. I have been looking for a job since the first part of June 2008. I have had several interviews, but nothing has panned out as of yet. I'm in my early 40's, long dark brown hair, and green eyes. I do have morals, and very high self esteem. I have never been in such a rout before, and it scares me. I'm needing the following:

  1. Rent -----$550.00
  2. Electric ----$100.00
  3. Gas Bill ---$50.00
  4. Car Insurance$136.00

I receive help with food, but any extra food would be good also. Please email me with any helpful information or just you wanting to be a good person and help me out would be great also.  beautybytina40@yahoo.com

About asil711

I moved to the Columbus area about 3 years ago from a city in northern ohio. The economy there was to say the least "dying".I was laid off from one of the remaining jobs in town and grown men and women were competeing to work at the local McDonalds resturtant that was barely surviving.there for it was time to move.Moving to the Columbus area has been the adventure of a life time. After several "hold me over" jobs, I did finally land a wonderful job with a company but the ugly economy and lack of college education reared it's head and I found myself a Victim of "Economical Downsizing". so not fully on my feet everything crumbled again but I 'm determined to not let this happen again. So I am working on getting some courses that will make me less DESPENSIBLE in the job market. But in the mean time my finances are suffering severely.I am now 1 1/2 months behind on my rent and my gas and electric are barely staying on.And I am managing to keep up with my car payment and insurance because if I lose my car all hope will be lost because i live outside of the city busline by about 4 miles.I could really use a hand up right about now so if there is anyone in the postition to help it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me at 614-491-9698 Lisa
